About Wayne

Wayne brings a huge amount of property experience to the team, having spent considerable time in the building industry in various roles. Wayne started his building apprenticeship in 1975 then spent the next few decades working as a carpenter and went on to start up his own building construction company working on residential and light commercial properties. This has meant that Wayne has a vast amount of knowledge of the industry for whatever your property needs may be. He also has plenty of experience within the pre purchase and pre-sale inspection and has spent time as a Body Corporate Committee member so knows the ins and outs of various property arrangements. 

Outside of running a successful Betta license he enjoys travelling and spending time outdoors mountain biking or cruising through Wellington’s bustling city on his motorbike.

The Residential Tenancies (Healthy Homes Standards) Regulations 2019 became law on 1st July 2019. The terms outlined require all rental homes to address and fix issues with cold, damp, drainage and draughts in rental properties. 

The Healthy Homes standards aim to improve the quality for rental properties so that the nearly 1.2 million New Zealanders that rent in New Zealand have warmer, drier homes.

About Randall

Our inspector, Randall, is based in Wellington and has spent 46 years in the building industry, working on all aspects of residential construction. In his role as a building inspector, Randall draws from his depth of experience and so has a great deal of knowledge to share with you. Randall has previously been a licensed building practitioner and holds a New Zealand trade certificate in carpentry.
